After spending 40 days in a coma, suffering 17 broken bones and a
severe brain injury, ensuing blindness and undergoing 14 surgeries,
Alex is finally home.
Sgt. Bryan Axelrod, former Ramsey resident and Anoka High School
graduate, is among the members of the U.S. military honored by the
Minnesota Military Appreciation Fund this Veterans Day.
The school house will rock Saturday night as Anoka-Hennepin District 11
teachers and staff members share their talents for a worthy cause.
